Pick of the Day- Nars Fall 2010 Collection

I adore this collection. As we know purple is everything this fall. This whole collection is very romantic, making you feel very soft and pretty. I should be doing a tutorial with the collection around the end of September when fall officially starts. I'm going to add one or two photos with a purple smokey eye I created using it, amazing.

NOW IS THE TIME TO START A REGIMEN

So my 30th birthday is coming up soon, and while I'm still young and full of life, I can't help but think in 10 years I'll be 40. OMG! I decided it's never to early to start a good skin care regimen, and using anti aging products right now. I do the basics, washing my face at morning and night, and adding moisturizer, but I've been doing a bit more lately. I've been using a set of Mary Kay products for my skin care. The Timewise Miracle set and the Indulge Eye Gel.
I've been using these product religiously for about 2 months now, and I love the results. The day regimen , the moisturizer and the day cream, keeps your skin hydrated and soft. The night regimen, the night gel and eye cream, you wake up the next day and look great. Your skin is nice and tight and you have no under eye bags. It's a great set from Mary Kay. Total it should run you about $90.00 dollars but it's worth it, and it will last you around 3-4 months which is great. Go to www.marykay.com and go into the skincare section, great investment.

PICK OF THE DAY-SMASHBOX BIONIC MASCARA

Hey,

OMG!! I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT!. I'm currently addicted to this mascara. I have long eyelashes but when I use this, it gives me great length, and also no clumping. Another reason I love it, literally you only need one coat. I purchased mine from Sephora $19.99, great buy. Girls you will love it.

Honorable Mention: Before I was addicted to Smashbox, I was addicted to Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara, Fabulous.

FOUNDATION, FOUNDATION

Hey Guys,

Today while running errands, I ran across a female, with a not so good choice of Foundation. I know that many women still don't know the proper way to test foundation, but at some point you have to see the difference. Do you still wear it anyway? There is always the reliable jaw test, taking three foundations closest to your skin tone, put all three on your jawline and whichever one fades into the skin is your correct shade.

There are also many things that can through your judgement off, one especially being bad lighting. If you go to your local pharmacy or walmart, there are certain makeup brands that allows you to use a swatch to determine the best color for you. I know maybeline has it and it's pretty accurate. You can also do the inner arm test, and it clearly shows which color is best, the third from right.
What you don't want is to end up to light looking like a ghost or two dark. Foundation is to enhance your beauty, and even out your skin tone, not change your overall appearance.
