120 Color Eyeshadow Palette

MY NEW TOY- 120 EYESHADOW PALETTE

I ordered this palette from BH Cosmetics, and I love it. The colors are rich and vibrant, and as you can see you have so many to choose from. I payed $29.99 from Bhcosmetics.com and it's worth it. It comes in a medium size compact case, that's good for traveling with. I love the range of each color, you can go from the lightest purple to darkest, the same for any of the other colors. The set includes Matt colors and also Shimmer.

I currently have no camera,(smh) and unable to do a tutorial, but what I did do is take a couple of photos with my camera phone. I tried out the purple and green just to see how good the pigment is, and so far so good.

For the purple, I used the lighter shimmer purple in the inner corner, and the dark shimmer in the center and outer part of the eye. And for the Green, I used one of the lighter greens, just to see how much it would show, I was satisfied with it. This set is a great buy.

Celebrity Looks I Love

BEAUTIFUL FACES

Everyday we are bombarded with celebrity photos and stories. At times I don't really care about what going on with them, but i do love looking at them. Number 1 on my list of "I'm sick of her, but can't get enough of her" Ms. Kimmy K. I cant stand how much publicity this girl gets for no reason, but i love me some Kim. Why? I don't know, I'm  fool I guess. I just love how versatile she is, and she is beautiful. Here are a few looks of my dear Kim, that i want to try.

Ms. Kardashian is absolutely stunning, and yes I'm not ashamed to say it " I'm a fan".

Next up Ms Beyonce, oops Mrs Beyonce Knowles Carter, OK we know why she's famous, and she does the damn thing, but OMG!! I think this women has enough pics on the net to last us for the next 60 yrs, but once again, I can't stop looking these pics. 98% of the time this girl is Flawless, and I love her drama. She's hardcore and not ashamed to flaunt what she has. Here are my top four Mrs.B looks:
I love when Beyonce is ultra glam, but has a glow to her. She's sexy, beautiful and can work just about anything. FYI Beyonce is absolutely beautiful with dark hair, she needs to use it more often. FABULOUS

LAST BUT NOT LEAST
MS.RIHANNA
This girl wakes up beautiful. This Island girl is an example of beauty out the box, without all the hoopla. When Rihanna stepped on the Scene with the longer hair, you didn't really notice her, but the what a difference a hair cut can make. We were able to see her beautiful face and was stunned by her beauty. She's not selling much albums these days, but her beauty is timeless.

HOT ITEM OF THE FALL: RED LIPS

Hello My beautiful Makeup Divas,

Fall is quickly approaching and I'm so excited. The change of the weather, and the beautiful colors that will be floating around on the trees, makes me giddy. Fall is my absolute favorite season, a cool crisp air, that allows you put on those sexy boots, cropped sweaters and jackets, that hugs every curve, and make you feel so sexy and luxurious.  Another part of fall that excites me is, the change of makeup.. Summer makeup is about, bright colors and a nice glow, but fall gives you the opportunity to soften up your look. The plums , red, and browns, it just brings warmth to the face. What I'm looking forward too this season is Finally trying the infamous "Red Lip". I have never, ever, ever worn red lipstick. I have always been very cautious of red, it just never made me shiver. I need the wow factor, in order for me to get into something.

Well The time has presented itself, I was in Sephora and Bam, there it was. Love at first sight, Makeup Forever Mufe Lipstick in Blue Red 205, $19.99.  I just kept looking at it, it was beautiful ,and i wanted it. I was still skeptical, but i said it's time QB, get that red lipstick.
I'm so happy with this pic, it's absolutely beautiful. I'm now open to anything red. I'm thinking this fall, I'm going to try different hues of red. In my hunt for red, I also found other great red lipsticks that stood out.  1. Sephora brand lip Attitude $ 12.00, absolutely beautiful, Dior Rouge replenishing lip color in red premiere 752 $29.00, and last but not least Nars lipstick in Fire down below and Shanghai Express $24.00.

So ladies get that tube of red lipstick. Remember to rock a sexy red lip, leave your makeup simple. Add some sexy lashes and set this look off. Enjoy

Your Wedding Day

How To Prepare for that "SPECIAL DAY"

Hey Guys,

Today I decided to Blog about preparing for your wedding. Next year I have 2 weddings so far, that I'm personally involved in, and I'm so excited. I thought it would be a nice idea, to do a wedding beauty rundown from A-Z. I think every women, who wants to get married, has always thought about there big day. It's seems to be something always at the top of our minds, from the wedding dress, to bridemaids dresses, wedding colors, ect, ect. I personally love weddings, the beauty and the elegance of it. I'm a total drama queen, so I know when I get married (again) I want the glitz and glamour, but being a Makeup Artist, My face is one of the most important things to me.

So one of the first steps to handle when it comes to beauty on your big day, is what style are you going for?  Are you going for a classic look? Dramatic? edgy? Are you doing your own makeup or hiring a Mua? Little things makes the difference, but no matter what you choose, make sure it expresses who you are. Remember it's your day, and on that day you can do whatever you want, but first let me give you some ideas and looks, and of course products to have on that special day

BRIDE TO BE

Most brides will tell you, that they're looking for a more polished version of their everyday look and first step to achieve this is keeping your makeup as natural, classic, weightless and comfortable s possible. This is not the time to experiment with the flavour-of-the-month trends or look that you've never test run before, especially because you will like to be wowed by your wedding pictures in years to come, and some looks that might seem currently fashionable can look extremely dated in the future. Your bridal makeup should enhance your features without overpowering them.

If you're not used to having regular facials, it's a good idea to start two to three months before the big day. Any new skin care that you should wish to try should also be tested well in advance.

When it comes to your wedding day , a flawless canvas is the key to an unforgettable look. A good trick is using a water based moisturizer or primer to allow foundation to adhere properly to the skin, as oil based formulas tend to make it separate.

The other important factor is keep your face as matte as possible. Shine doesn't photograph well and even if your going for a subtle, dewy glow it can become easily mistaken as sweat in pictures. Loose powder is the best option to use at home, but carry a compact formula or blotting paper for touch up during the day.

COLORS

When it comes to colour, keep it as neutral and classic as possible. Matte eyeshadow is the safest bet to enhance eyes, along with long-lasting eyeliner and waterproof mascara in case you should shed some tears of joy. Individual false eyelashes can also open up your glance and make your look very special, without going over the top.  Blush should always enhance your features and give you a healthy glow, so go for pretty pinks, apricots, and medium bronzers if your light skinned, and plums, berries and dark rose if your skin is darker. Lips are also best kept matte and quite neutral. You will be doing some serious kissing, so choose a lip liner that perfectly matches your lipstick.

6. DIOR 5 COLOUR EYESHADOW IN 743 COQUETTE

Pick Of The Day- Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer

TO PRIME OR NOT TO PRIME?

Photo Finish Lid Primer

What it is:

An ultra-luxurious lid primer.

What it does:

Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer creates the perfect canvas for eyeshadow application. Wear this universal shade under shadow to increase longevity, or create the perfect nude eye by applying over the lid for an even tone.

What Else You Need To Know:

The exclusive formula contains Phytomoist, a plant-based hyaluronic acid for ultimate moisturization and amino acids for skin-smoothing benefits. Soft focus pearls help diminish the appearance of fine lines on the lids while the patented Qusome® delivery system ensures all ingredients penetrate the skin to deliver effective results.

I just started using this 3 months ago, and now I can't live without it. I've been doing my eyeshadow without primer and I have generally never had a problem. I've been hesitant about using it, for about a year, but being a product hog, I decided to try it out. The results: How did I manage without?  It totally makes putting on eyeshadow 100% easier and better. It blends perfectly with any skin tone and does not leave any kind of film or residue. It also does not affect the color or texture of any eyeshadow in no way. It holds the shadow on, nearly all day, and blending is so much better. Everyone needs this product, it's as necessary as Lip Gloss, please Purchase it.  It's $ 20.00 from Sephora. A Must have!

The Lovely World Of "LASHES"

Lashes, Lashes, and More Lashes

It's labor day weekend, and with all the events this weekend, I'm looking to add a little spice. I usually wear lashes, but I'm looking for a bit more flare. I went to Sephora "My Favorite Store" and picked up three pairs of lashes, I don't know which one I'm going to wear, but all three has the drama, I'm looking for. The First is Makeup Forever Strip Lashes (very cat like)  $15.00, I absolutely love the flare on these. There very dramatic and sexy. The second is Urban Decay also $15.00, I love the thickness of these. They don't have the full amount of flare as the Makeup Forever, but there just as bold. Last but not least, the Illamasqua False eyelashes $18.00. I love these, there so different, but edgy. They actually have a tint of blue in them, so if I was to wear these, I would add a coat of blue mascara just to really make it pop.

Fake Eyelashes and Mascara are like peanut butter and jelly-alone there just fine, but when you put the two together, unbelievable magic happens.

Tip: When wearing fake lashes, always carry a little bit of adhesive and a toothpick with you. If the lash starts to come loose, hold the toothpick with the adhesive on it, onto the root of the lash, until it feels secure.

End Of Summer Glow

*Fall is near, and the summer is ending, but you want to keep your sun-kissed summer glow*

Summer is 3 weeks from being over, and the tans are about to fade ladies, but it doesn't have to end there. We can keep our summer glow for a bit longer. With all the Great Bronzers arounds, and shimmer lotions, we can still keep our sexy..  I love Nars Products. There quality is so good and it never fails.  I had to list my Three Fav products for keeping that summer glow, Nars Body Glow, Nars Monoi Body Glow II, Nars Bronzing Powder.
The Nars body glow and the Monoi are $59.00 and the Nars Bronzing powder is $32.00 from Sephora.
Even if you don't have a tan, if you want to fake it and act like you went on a tropical vacation, there your best bet.  As for the Bronzing powder, it gives your face a beautiful glow, add some with a dusting brush, to your cheeks and forehead, and a light dusting on your shoulders and chest, beautiful.

Classic Timeless Beauties!

I love seeing amazing women that age gracefully. I can only wish that I'm so lucky. When you see women that are in their 40s, 50s, 60s and they look amazing, it makes you smile and say wow. Is it good genes? or a healthy lifestyle? or is it both?. I know that beauty starts from the inside out, so I try to stay on the right path, lots of fruits and vege, and water. But what is the answer to looking amazing in our prime? I look at women like Iman, Halle Berry,Liyah Kebede and Naomi Campbell and I'm in awe. Beautiful amazing women, all 40 plus and can give a young girl a run for her money. I want the answer, I don't need no older women putting me to shame.
